Grandway FHP2G10 – Selective Power Meter / PON Tester
The Grandway FHP2G10 is an advanced power meter, specially designed for testing and maintaining PON networks (EPON, GPON, 10G-EPON, XG(S)PON). Unlike a conventional meter, the device can separate the downstream wavelengths. 1490 nm and 1577 nm, providing accurate measurements for each signal separately. This gives the technician a clear view of the network performance and makes it much easier to locate faults.
Additionally, the FHP2G10 features a built-in Visual Fault Locator (VFL) 10 mW, which helps quickly locate breaks and poor connections in the fiber optic cable. The device supports storage of up to 999 measurements, allowing comparison and analysis of results in the field or in the lab. Therefore, it is a reliable tool not only for acceptance testing but also for periodic maintenance.
Thanks to the threshold setting function (thresholds), the user can set acceptable power levels and receive an immediate indication Pass, Warning or Fail. In addition, it also operates with rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries, ensuring flexibility in daily use.
